Not So Touristy Winter Tour (not available)

The total cost of the tour is 38€*

*(total, not per person)

In this tour you will experience the landscape that gave the Black Forest its name. We pass through countless pretty towns along rivers that wind through never-ending valleys with picture perfect vistas, and into the dark Black Forest. This is a very relaxed tour with plenty of places to take a break, go for a walk, or just mingle with the locals. If you are interested in touristy stuff, this tour is not for you!

Tour Description.

Many attractions in the Black Forest are closed starting November. They will reopen in March/April. The Black Forest is also often covered in snow and we need to pay attention to how to get you from point A to point B easily. Our winter tours tell you which attractions are open during winter times.  And how to get there safely. This is the area I am from and therefore this is my non-touristy tour. The tour starts and ends in the town of Offenburg. This tour is easily described as just being beautiful and representative of the Black Forest. You start off with a visit to a castle, then on to a medieval town – a hidden gem of the Black Forest – with everything from watchtowers, original gated entrance towers, cobblestone streets, an old monastery, and a farmer’s market. You will then get deeper into the valleys and forest. One pretty town follows the next. This tour provides you with all the options to stop at great restaurants and to sample the little-known local culture. This tour is very similiar to the Not So Touristy Summer Tour, but has adjusted sights for the winter season.

Please note: This tour is valid from Nov 20, 2017 – March 5, 2018.
