This tour provides you with a beautiful Get-Away into the country-side. It is an easy and laid-back relaxed tour taking you to some of the less touristy places of the Southern Black Forest. Are you  familiar with travelguru Rick Steves? This tour takes you to some of the places he considers in his books as a MUST-SEE in the Black Forest. Tour where the locals tour! Walk Rick Steve’s favorite hike to enjoy some of the best views the Black Forest region hast to offer. You can even add-on a stop in the wine area on your way back to Freiburg.

Tour Description The Scenic Tour is ideal if you only have a day (or even only half a day) and want to venture out into the countryside. If you are not looking for an action-filled day on mountain coasters or cable cars, this is your tour. We will show you how to cross famous Hells Valley the right way – we get you there!  The tour points out which seats on the bus to take to have the best view in the valley – and which ones don’t. The tour covers not only 1, but 3 lakes – two are hidden away from the tourist tracks and can only be accessed on a walk. If you want to get a bit of activity in, this is a good tour.  We show you an easy (almost flat!) 5k walk through beautiful woods. And make some sugestions for longer walks as well. But no need to get active unless you want to. There is an option to explore not several typical Black Forest towns. We recommend places to eat a perfect piece of Black Forest cake – at places tourists don’t usually get to. One (optional) touristy spot the tour covers is Lake Titisee. But no worries – we show you how to avoid the crowds. The waterfront of Lake Titisee is not too accessible – we show you exactly where to sit next to the water and enjoy a snack.  Lake Titisee is a touristy destination – but my tour will show you some of the hidden places – where the locals take their friends to. The tour’s highlight is the Scenic Bus which will take you through beautiful countryside. You can get off the bus and explore. But you can also just lean back, relax and enjoy the hour-long drive. At the end of the day you have the option to detour to the Black Forest Wine Area. Why not go for a wine tasting to finish up a full day of touring?
